Landscape and Flower Installation Watering Guidelines

When we install landscaping or flowers, under this season’s relaxed watering restrictions, watering for up to 10 weeks is permitted. Be assured that as we complete these plantings, we’re setting your irrigation system to operate within the current restrictions so that the plants have ample opportunity to become established. This also protects your landscaping investment.

However, it’s important to remember that after the 10-week period is over, you will be able to continue to water by hand for up to 25 minutes per day, on the odd/even schedule.

If restrictions change, we’ll keep you updated.

Linwood Apartments Playground

The staff at New Leaf, under the direction of two of our staff project managers -- Beth Garmon, landscape architect, and Suzanne Albright, landscape designer – has just begun working on the design for a new playground at Linwood Apartments behind Lakewood Baptist Church off Hwy. 60.

“Community involvement and support furthers our mission of caring,” Beth says. “It is so rewarding when we are able to give back with our time and talents.”

New Leaf will be donating the design and the labor for the project.
